# Secure ChatGPT

> How VisIQ secures ChatGPT. Its reasoning runs on OpenAI's servers, so you secure each form your people use it in.

ChatGPT runs its reasoning loop on OpenAI's servers. There is no agent on your side to install a harness into, so VisIQ does not connect *into* ChatGPT. It secures what your people **send** to it, in each form they use it in, with products you deploy on your own machines.

## Pick the forms your fleet uses

Each row is a separate VisIQ product. You only need the ones for the forms your people actually use.

The desktop app and the extension share one row's product: **one Discovery Sensor install covers both.**

## What has been proven for ChatGPT

* **Proven:** interception on the ChatGPT web app, end to end, with real decisions landed in a tenant.
* **Not yet proven:** the ChatGPT desktop app or a ChatGPT browser extension governed through the sensor's egress proxy on a real host. The proxy is proven against real third-party browser extensions in general, but not against these two specifically.
